I am a trained counselling and clinical psychologist based in London, UK now with over 16-years of therapy experience. My main area of work is within the National Health Service within a specialist complex trauma and dissociation service. Within both my NHS role and my small private practice I am focused on supporting clients with the wonderful tools that Lifespan Integration therapy has offered to the therapeutic community. I am particularly interested in how our early experiences have shaped us and can, as adults, continue to resource us whilst sometimes hindering our capacity to embrace our most functioning selves. I am European with an Irish heart and spent many of my formative years in a French speaking country. I have lived in several countries and am fluent in English, French and Spanish. My somewhat nomadic ways have helped me understand how different cultures and experiences in life contribute to how we view ourselves but sometimes leave us feeling out of place. I am also interested in the mind-body link and working with those who find themselves navigating physical and psychological difficulties at once. I am happy to work with those of any gender, sexual orientation or cultural heritage and will educate myself with support of the individual’s own expertise of themselves where my understanding may be wanting.
My private practice is currently on-line only whilst I can offer in-person assessments where feasible. I have come to enjoy being able to offer therapy within the online modality allowing those who cannot always access therapy due to travel or physical health barriers to be able to engage with this process.
