trauma can interfere with our connection to ourselves, and therefore our connection to others. it can disrupt our access to inner wisdom and the ability to process information in a loving, generous way. lifespan integration can increase our connection to ourselves and the parts of us that have been longing to be included. when we feel more connected to our total selves, we have the ability to connect more with the world around us. LI is a body-based approach that helps create more fluid, flexible thinking, more self-acceptance, and the ability to live with the uncertainties of life. It helps create connections to our inner wisdom, a more full knowing, that can be lived in life situations.
i have incorporated LI in my work since 2007 and have found that it helps people access emotions, memories, and ways of thinking that they haven’t been able to surface before. When the unconscious becomes conscious, integration to form a full self can happen.
