Jackie graduated with her Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University in 1995. After graduation, she traveled back to Utah and embarked on a journey in substance addiction therapy. As she delved into the addiction field, she discovered hidden aspects of her own family’s history and began making sense of her upbringing. Subsequently, she transitioned to working with adults who experienced sexual trauma as children and noticed striking similarities between both client populations. Jackie is an expert in treating behavioral and substance addiction, relationship issues and complex trauma. She is an innovator, podcast host, and started a mental health specialty group practice treating sexual betrayal and trauma where she has worked for the past 10+ years.
In addition to her work, Jackie loves spending time at the beach.
