Bridget graduated with her undergraduate degree in healthcare administration and psychology. She also has another graduate degree in Healthcare Administration. She decided to pivot careers and recently graduated with Masters in Social Work. While obtaining her social work degree, Bridget worked with domestic violence survivors, offenders, and children. She also worked with adolescents through the Department of Juvenile Justice.
During her year at Healing Paths, Bridget has achieved Level 2 Gottman training and skillfully integrates the Gottman Method into her couples therapy practice. She is also trained in Level 12Lifespan Integration (LI), a therapeutic modality designed to support clients in reprocessing and integrating past traumatic experiences to achieve lasting emotional healing. LI is particularly effective in addressing trauma, attachment wounds, and unresolved emotional distress by helping clients create a coherent narrative of their life. Bridget uses this approach to assist clients in reducing the emotional charge of past events, fostering resilience, and improving their ability to respond adaptively in current relationships. Additionally, Bridget is progressing in her Certified Sex Addiction Therapy (CSAT) training and has completed Level 2 in that program. She continually seeks to expand her knowledge and skills, demonstrating a commitment to both personal and professional growth in order to best serve her clients.
Through her work, Bridget has developed a deep understanding of how past experiences can shape our present lives and future relationships, often in ways that are both conscious and unconscious. She approaches therapy with a trauma- and attachment-focused lens, helping clients explore and heal the effects of past trauma while drawing upon their inner strengths and shared human experience. Bridget recognizes that unresolved trauma can significantly impact attachment styles, affecting how we relate to romantic partners, family members, and close connections. By fostering safe and supportive therapeutic relationships, Bridget helps clients build healthy attachments, which can mirror and validate their inner world and support emotional healing. She believes that healing through secure attachments—both within therapy and in personal relationships—plays a vital role in cultivating mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Bridget is an Air Force veteran, serving in the military for 7 years as a medic. She has traveled a lot both with the military and as a civilian. In her spare time, Bridget enjoys reading, camping, hiking and anything outdoors.
