I am passionate about helping kids overcome struggles, traumatic experiences, false self beliefs, triggers, and stuck feeling states that impact their everyday functioning.
These challenges may be showing up as anxiety, attention problems, emotional
dysregulation, and behavior challenges.
I provide a client centered, holistic, integrative approach to counseling, which means I consider each client’s mind, soul, body, physical health, culture, and life experiences.
Whatever they are struggling with, your loved one will be received with acceptance, compassion, and unconditional positive regard. I am affirming and supportive of
LGBTQIA+ clients.
The therapeutic relationship your child and I build will provide them a safe space for healing and change to take place through play, talk, movement, Lifespan Integration,
and other complementary approaches.
I have 2+ years experience using child centered play therapy, and am working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist. Additionally, I have worked with adolescents and adults in an inpatient eating disorder facility, as well as adults struggling with mental
health disorders, substance abuse, and homelessness.
In addition to being a counselor, I have a family, which includes a husband, and two teenagers. In my free time you can find me in the hot yoga studio, enjoying the outdoors, drinking coffee, and spending time with family and friends.
